We are hosting one of the Tyne Valley Film Festival events on Wednesday, 26 March with a screening of Alfred Hitchcock's The Lady Vanishes.
As we celebrate 200 years of rail travel we thought this 1938 mystery about the disappearance of a train passenger on a journey through Europe fit the bill well.
A pre-film meal in the Water Tower is included in the ticket, Enjoy cottage pie*, followed by fruit crumble and cream and tea or coffee and then go across to the Old Booking Hall to watch the film. The meal will be served at 4pm with the screening at 4.45pm (*A vegetarian option will be available - please advise when booking)
This has been a popular event in previous years and ticket numbers are limited.
Tickets cost £9.50, which includes the meal, are now on sale in the Water Tower or online.
